Family hikes: Lac Noir and Lac du Milieu

On foot or by mountain bike, the beauty of the lakes and landscapes makes this a must-do itinerary in the Alpes de Haute-Provence.
If you are a family from the resort of Montclar, you can take the chairlift which will save you the climb to the pass with the children. But you can also choose to leave on foot or by mountain bike from the Col-Bas car park. The climb is easy and the moment you enter the old glacial cirque is just magical.
On the way, all you have to do is choose your destination: the Lac de la Cabane, the Lac du milieu, the Lac Noir, the crests and the Dormillouse fort (2,505m). The view, the smells, the sounds make you travel in another universe, the one of the different alpine floors (larch forest, mountain pasture).
